Today, we’re thrilled to announce a significant upgrade for our Ninja Pro and Ultra subscribers—access to Amazon’s new Nova models. For those of you who want the details, here they are:

  • Pro subscribers will now have access to Nova Micro and Nova Lite, both offer robust performance for diverse applications.
  • Ultra subscribers gain exclusive access to Nova Pro and Nova Canvas, with the latter capable of generating stunning images up to 2K resolution.

Why We’re Offering Amazon Nova

At Ninja, we’ve always believed in empowering our users with choice. Different AI models offer unique capabilities, and having the flexibility to experiment with a model ensures you can find the perfect fit for your specific needs. That’s why we created the external model access feature—to give you the freedom to explore and select models that work best for you.

Now, we’re excited to expand this feature by adding Amazon’s Nova models to our growing list. Let’s dive into what makes these models special!

Amazon’s Family of Nova Models

Each Nova AI model is designed to address different needs in AI-driven tasks. These models bring a range of capabilities that make them valuable tools for both practical and creative applications.

Amazon Nova Micro is a streamlined text-only model that prioritizes speed. It excels at handling tasks such as text summarization, translation, content classification, interactive chat, brainstorming, and basic coding. This model is ideal for users seeking a straightforward model for text-based tasks.

Amazon Nova Lite takes a step further by offering multimodal capabilities, enabling it to process images, videos, and text to generate accurate text-based outputs. It is well-suited for document analysis, and visual question-answering. Nova Lite’s ability to handle multiple formats makes it a powerful tool for scenarios where speed and precision are critical.

For those requiring more advanced functionality, Amazon Nova Pro delivers exceptional performance across a variety of complex tasks. This model is designed to handle demanding workflows that require detailed analysis of both visual and textual information. It is particularly effective in areas such as financial document analysis and workflows involving intricate problem-solving. Nova Pro’s versatility makes it an excellent choice for users seeking precision and adaptability in their AI solutions.

For creative users, Amazon Nova Canvas stands out as a cutting-edge image generation model. It is capable of producing studio-quality visuals with advanced editing features such as in-painting, out-painting, and background removal. Whether creating art, refining designs, or generating customized visual content, Nova Canvas offers unparalleled control and quality, making it a favorite for those focused on visual creativity.

Now let’s explore how you can access these powerful tools with Ninja.

Accessing Amazon’s Nova Models with Ninja AI

Pro and Ultra users can now access Amazon Nova Models through Ninja’s external model access feature, providing seamless integration and the ability to leverage these advanced models for your tasks. As mentioned above, Pro users have access to Nova Micro and Nova Lite while Ultra users have access to Nova Pro and Nova Canvas - the latter being an image generation model.

With the External Model Access feature, you can send your prompts to up to two external models, allowing you to explore and compare responses side by side. This is a game-changer for users who want to experiment with different AI models and choose the one that fits their needs best. Simply select Amazon’s Nova models using the Model Selection tool in the lower right of the prompt box.

Ninja Pro and Ultra subscribers can access Amazon's new Nova AI models in Ninja.

When you receive results from Nova Models, they will appear alongside outputs from Ninja’s internal 405B model and the SuperAgent. This setup allows you to compare the responses across multiple models and evaluate their unique characteristics.

Amazon's Nova AI model results show up in Ninja AI along with results from other AI models.

Here are a few key points to consider when analyzing and comparing results:

  • Content Similarities and Differences: Pay attention to where the models agree in their responses and where they diverge. These distinctions can provide valuable insight into the strengths and focus areas of each model.
  • Formatting Variations: Some models may present their answers in structured formats, like lists or tables, while others may offer a more narrative style. Choose the format that aligns best with your goals and workflow.
  • Personal Preference: Over time, you’ll notice which models resonate with your style and accuracy needs. Don’t hesitate to experiment to identify which models are best suited for specific tasks or types of content.

This capability is entirely unique, offering users the opportunity to directly compare Nova outputs with models like GPT or Gemini, side by side. It’s a powerful way to explore the nuances of each model and select the best fit for your needs.

And we’re just getting started!

Our team is working hard to include support for video in the near future, unlocking even greater possibilities with Nova and Ninja. Stay tuned as we continue to expand and innovate for our users.
