‍How to use Image Edit

Ninja’s new Image Edit functionality is entirely accessible via prompts. Just describe how  you want to modify your image and Ninja’s image models will make the changes.

It’s important to note that Image Edit currently works exclusively with Ninja’s internal models. In addition, Image edit works best on basic images where the area or object you want to edit is easily identifiable. As you explore this tool, remember that this is our first version of a very difficult technology.

Let’s take a look at the ways that you can use the new edit image functionality.

‍Add or Remove Text from Images

With Ninja’s Image Edit functionality, you can easily customize your visuals by adding or removing text with just a simple prompt. 

To add text to an image use a prompt in this format, replacing [TEXT] with the text you want to include. 

Add the text “[TEXT]” to the image

When entering the prompt, leave a space between each character of [TEXT] for the best results. For example, to add the word “STAR” to an image, attach the image to your prompt and enter the following:

Add the text “S T A R” to this image.
Use a simple prompt to add text to an image.

To remove text from an image, upload the image containing the text you want to remove and enter a prompt like this:

Remove the text from this image.
Ninja can remove text from images.

You can also use Ninja’s Image Edit to change the composition of your image. The functionality can add or remove objects from uploaded images. We’ve found that this feature works best on basic images, where objects are clearly identifiable and easy to isolate.
